Lux Oasis in West Hollywood

Great and comfortable stay right in the heart of WeHo Positive: Amazing location, right in the heart of WeHo so we were able to walk to a lot of places along Melrose and into Beverly Hills and shopping at the Beverly Center. Very convenient having undercover car parking included in the price of the apartment. The apartment itself was well set out, great kitchen and the couch was huge and enough to sleep two teenage boys. Air conditioning in lounge and bedroom, definitely did the job during the heatwave. Fantastic pool area including spa and the chill out area was lovely to eat lunch. Had a great stay, highly recommend if you want to be in the heart of WeHo.

La piscine (environ 28°C) et le jacuzzi extérieur (autour de 38°C en permanence) sont agréables, tout comme la zone barbecue, la buanderie et les terrasses extérieures — même si ces équipements sont partagés avec l’ensemble de la copropriété et non privatifs au logement, ce que l’annonce ne précise pas. The property is very well located in West Hollywood, and the listing photos accurately reflect the place. The pool (around 82°F) and outdoor hot tub (a steady 100°F) are nice, as are the barbecue area, laundry room, and outdoor terraces — though these are shared with the whole building rather than private to the unit, which the listing doesn’t make clear. Negative: Plus problématique : l’annonce présente le canapé du salon comme convertible pour deux personnes, mais il ne l’est pas. Les coussins sont en forme de « L », rendant impossible d’y installer des draps puisqu’il n’existe pas de drap-housse en forme de « L », seulement des draps rectangulaires. Le document remis avant notre arrivée confirme d’ailleurs qu’un supplément est demandé pour une 4ᵉ personne, alors que nous avions réservé et payé pour quatre personnes dès le départ, âges précisés. Sur place, seule la chambre avec lit double était réellement adaptée au sommeil. Enfin, la climatisation (mobile en chambre, fixe en pièce principale) est extrêmement bruyante sur tous les réglages, rendant impossible de dormir ou de regarder un film avec l’appareil allumé. Nous devions l’éteindre la nuit et ouvrir les fenêtres, malgré des travaux à proximité dès 7h chaque matin. Face à ces remarques, la propriétaire a simplement répondu qu’il n’y avait pas de problème pour elle et que « cela avait toujours été comme ça ». Booking a procédé à un remboursement partiel, confirmant le bien-fondé de ces points. More importantly: the listing describes the living room sofa as a sofa bed for two, but it doesn’t convert. The cushions are L-shaped, making it impossible to fit sheets as suggested, since there’s no such thing as an L-shaped fitted sheet — only rectangular ones. The document we received before arrival confirms a surcharge applies for a 4th guest, even though we had booked and paid for four people from the start, with everyone’s age listed. On site, only the bedroom with the double bed was actually suited for sleeping. Finally, the air conditioning (portable in the bedroom, fixed in the main room) is extremely loud on any setting, making it impossible to sleep or even watch a movie with it on. We had to turn it off at night and open the windows, despite nearby construction starting around 7am every morning.

Yucky! Not the same apartment as the pictures Negative: Yucky! Do not stay here! The apartment is not what is shown in the picture. The bathroom had pink and black mold. The couch was old and used. The air conditioning unit left a stink each time we turned it on! And on top of that, the host was rude to say the least.

Wonderful stay Positive: I stayed here with my partner and we had a really great time. The apartment was clean, full of natural light, and looked just like the pictures, with modern and comfortable furniture. The location was also amazing, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, but still in a quiet area, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The host was very friendly and made sure we had all the information we needed in advance, which made everything really easy. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable and well located. We loved West Hollywood and would 100% stay here again if we came back to LA

A very comfortable, well-kept apartment in an excellent location with a great view. Positive: We appreciated the decor and the unit was very clean and comfortable. The location was great and it also had an awesome view. Very nice amenities as well. Negative: No complaints at all.
